Logo Contest

So the young writers and artists fest is coming back around this year and this is my last year to do it so I have to make it amazing. I have never won and I intend to to do my best this time. I have thought of a few ideas,  but the theme is limitless, and what goes with that??
Anyway, my first idea which i dont like so much is  a kind of collage of treesthat are really tall, so like redwood trees or what ever kinda trees are tall, and make like five of them and show a little of the roots to make it look 'limitless' because they go really high and way down into the ground.
My second more favored idea is one of those puzzleing drawings where there is multple things in one basic character, like that piece of art that has an old lady and a young lady at the same time with the chin of the young girl is the nose of the old hag. except mine would be more collected a lion, a snail, a shark mouth, and an eagle. it may be too crowded.... but hopefully when i add the details it will be like when you first you'll see the snail which is the main shape then when you look closer it will reveal the other creatures. also the shark may turn out to look like an eye.... i don't know. so anyway the eagle head is kind of like the tail of the snail and the shark snout is the part of the snail shell that is a sort of pointed tip. the lion head fits from the bottom of the snail near the head up creating the shell line and continues with the mane. i already sketched this all out.
